Press Release Summary: Elders Have a Cure for What Ails America on "Coping with Caregiving" Radio Show
Press Release Body: Ashville, North Carolina - October 23, 2008 - John Curtis, Ph.D., Coordinator of Project S.A.G.E., will be interviewed on the "Coping with Caregiving" Internet radio show, Saturday, October 25 at 3:00 pm Pacific at http://www.wsRadio.com/CopingWithCaregiving. The host, Jacqueline Marcell, is the author of "Elder Rage" (www.ElderRage.com) and is a nationally known speaker on eldercare awareness and reform.
The goals of Project S.A.G.E. are to, 1) provide an outlet to seniors who find the changes in our society unsettling, but until now, were not certain how to bring about positive change, 2) create a systematic process to capture the wisdom and common sense of elders before it's lost forever, 3) develop a platform, so this life experience can be "reinvested" in America by matching real-life common sense solutions to address what "ails" our society.
Dr. Curtis will talk about the origins, purpose and goals of Project S.A.G.E. He will also build the case for why America is (finally) ready to listen to its elders? In addition, as part of the national launch, Dr. Curtis will explain how seniors everywhere can submit their collective insights, experiences and "sage" advice as part of the SAGE Advice for Life Book series.
This is a sustained effort to build a library of common sense solutions to a wide array of life's typical challenges! The book series is built on the premise that the most logical and obvious resource to help us live successful lives is NOT to listen to media gurus who simply sell our common sense back to us... but to tap the wisdom of elders who already are successful!
If you would like to learn more about Project S.A.G.E. and how you can pass on your experience to younger generations, be sure to listen to Jacqueline Marcell's Internet radio program "Coping with Caregiving" on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 3:00 pm Pacific Time.
